Ichirin no Hana
November 26, 2010As a rather calm person, Sanji wasn't the type to do stupid things. Most of the time. But he was also a idiot in love, which brings us the following story. You see, our pirate heroes docked in a small, inhabited yet famous island.
"In the peak of the mountain in this island" the orange haired young girl explained to her curious companions "grows a very beautiful flower. Yet, the mountain is very hard to climb so few people have seen it."
She sighed.
"Aw, I wish I could see it."
"Oh, oh, let's-"
"LUFFY! No! You are not going to climb the damn mountain!"
And so the crew began investigating around the island. After some time, Nami noticed something unusual.
"Sanji-kun? Sanji! Where is he?"
Zoro shrugged.
"Perhaps the wuss got scared and went back to the ship."
The redhead glared at him.
"Scared of what, the palm trees? Zoro, just shut up and help me look for him.
And so, the crew spent the rest of the day looking for the blond moron. After the sun had long disappeared into the blue ocean, the navigator was panicking. She groaned as she paced around in the deck.
"Nami-san!"
She turned around, prepared to shout every insult she knew at the dimwitted cook. Only to realize he was holding a very, very pretty flower.
"S-Sanji-kun. What the..."
"I'm so sorry. I just had to get it for you."
"But...Why?"
He smiled and shrugged.
"I love you."
The redhead blushed.
He stretched his arm.
"Here. For you."
She just stared at the flower.
"Uh, don't like it?"
"N-no, it's beautifull, I just..."
She quickly punched him.
"Hey, what the-"
"You idiot! Now that I was perfect, no drama, nothing! And here you are with all the sentimental crap! And now, when this doesn't work I'll be miserable and sad and lonely and-"
He put his arms around her waist and pulled her closer.
"When this doesn't work? What makes you think it won't work?"
"Because...I don't know."
"Maybe because I'm so flirty? Because you think I'm a jackass?"
"No, because of me!"
"...What?"
"I'm too insecure, too bitchy, too-"
He kissed her. She let herself get lost in his arms. They broke apart. She looked up at him.
"Hey..."
"Forget about that. It doesn't matter anymore. I love you okay?"
"I...I...I..."
"Nami?"
"I love you too."
She gulped and smiled slightly.
"Yeah, I love you too."
She hugged him. He hugged her back and kissed the top of her head.
"Well, that wasn't too bad."
"Shut up, you're ruining the moment."
