Nami turned around. Again. And again. She sighed and sat up. She couldn't sleep.
Robin wasn't there. The archaeologist was on watch duty tonight. Nami was all alone.

She sighed and got up.

"Maybe a nice, warm glass of milk will help."

The redhead slowly opened the door and got out. The air was cool and brisk.

She smiled a little and looked around.

The deck was empty. The boys were all asleep. Or maybe not. The galley's light was on.

"Is Sanji cooking at this time in the night?" mused the navigator.

Making her way to the door, the girl kept pondering on why the cook was awake.

She opened the door just a little and peeked. Sighing, she walked in. Sanji was asleep sitting down at the table. Nami sat across him and sighed again. She looked around. There was a cake on the counter. She got up and looked at it. It was a very delicious-looking pastry.

"And I bet it tastes better than it looks."

The navigator smirked and took a bit of frosting.

"You know, you could've just asked for a slice."

She turned around, licking her fingers.

"Oh, I didn't want to wake you up."
"Right." said Sanji as he straightened his tie and got up. He walked over to the cake and cut a slice, placing it on a small plate. He handed it to the navigator, along with a dessert fork.

"Thanks" she muttered, sitting down at the table. He sat next to her, watching her eat.

"Wow. This is the best cake I ever tasted..."
Sanji grunted and looked away.
"Are you okay, Sanji-kun?"

He looked back at her.

"Yeah. I'm fine. Why?"
"You seem kinda annoyed. Sorry, am I bothering you?"

"No."
"Are you sure?"

He nodded. Nami sighed for the fourth time that night.
"Sanji, you really don't seem okay."
"I'm just sleepy."

"Lucky. I can't sleep."
"Why?"
"I don't know. Maybe it's because I'm nervous about the weather.."

She shook her head.

"The fact is, I can't sleep."

Sanji sighed and rested his head on the table.

"Ask someone to sleep there. Maybe then you can fall asleep."
She smirked.

"Like who?"
"I don't know, Chopper maybe."

"Wow, you're so tired you're not being a pervert."
"Don't go there,Nami-san."

"Uh?"
Sanji closed his eyes.

"Look, if you don't believe I really love you, then don't believe. Just don't torture me about it."
Nami gulped and looked straight at him. She shivered.

"It's a stupid idea that I'm probably going to regret but..."

"Sanji, can you sleep with me tonight?"
The cook suddenly straightened his back.

"What?"
"Well, I can't sleep. And you did say to ask someone to sleep there."
"I didn't mean me!"
Nami pouted.

"Oh, so you don't want to?"
"I didn't say that..."
"Great, you're doing it!"
"Wait, Nami!"

The navigator grabbed his arm and began pulling him towards the girls quarters. She opened the door and pulled him inside. She smiled triumphantly and pushed him to her bed.

"I didn't mean your bed either!"
"Oh, but you can't sleep on Robin's bed without permission! And I can't let you sleep on the floor, that would be cruel! So shut up!"
She hesitated. The redhead clenched her teeth, lain down next to him and pulled the covers over both of them. She smiled at Sanji.

He looked away.

Nami poked his head.

"Any problem?"
"Nami-san...I can't do this..."
"Why?"

"Because...Because...Because..."
"Because..."
"I want to kiss you. You're next to me, so close, and I want, no, I need to kiss you. I can't take it..."

"Sanji-kun..."

She gulped and hugged him. He looked at her.

"N-Nami, what are you doing?"
"Sanji...I...I...I can't say it..."
"Can't say what?"
"Sanji, I...I love..."
She gulped again.

"I can't, I can't, I just c-"
Sanji leaned down and kissed her. They broke away and laid down. Nami hugged the cook and rested her head in his chest, whispering softly:
"I love you..."
"I love you too, Nami-san..."
